AMIEE & ALUN
beautiful Welsh girl Aimee and the very handsome Alun
This was my last wedding of 2016, and it was the perfect end to the working year. The beautiful Welsh girl Aimee and the very handsome Alun booked me 18 months previously, so it was lovely for the day to finally arrive. On the morning of the wedding, I pulled up outside the beautiful Ston Easton Park Hotel to a gorgeous and peaceful frosty sunrise that confirmed what a beautiful day it would be. Firstly, I headed across to Alun’s room to get a few photos of him looking extremely dapper before heading across to the girls suite where Aimee was being pampered. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the atmosphere was calm. The time seemed to fly by. It wasn’t long until the cars pulled up and it was time to go.

“I honestly can’t believe how lovely they all are. We were blown away! You’ve done a superb job, very talented! ”

After the dress was on and hair and makeup perfected, Aimee and her dad made their way to the wedding venue, Priston Mill, a very familiar venue which is only a mile away from where I live. The ceremony was short, sweet and all around lovely, and the newlyweds walked back down the aisle to a wonderful confetti throw. Despite it being the end of December, it was a lovely dry and crisp day, so the guests went outside for canapes before the group shots. Aimee was desperate for a photo of her and Alun with her nieces, but the little one wasn’t having any of it! The end result wasn’t as expected, but it definitely captures the moment!
To get a change of scenery, I took the new Mr and Mrs to a local farm around the corner to get some romantic shots while Aimee and Alun got some quality time to take in the day. Not long after we got back to the barn where all the guests were seated. The couple made their entrance to a raucous applause and took their seats at the top table. There were some really super speeches, but I’ve got to say, Aimee’s eldest niece Anais topped them with the sweetest of words. Time passed while everyone socialised, before guests gathered around Aimee’s cousin who played the guitar. After taking to the cold outdoors for sparklers, the newlyweds headed back inside for their first dance and the party started.

“Wow! Photos are amazing! Thank you so much. So pleased with them & can’t wait to get them in frames around the house. We love them so much & we’ve had so many compliments about you already”
