KATIE & DAVID
Stunning bride Katie & her tall scouser David
Here’s another perfect Spring wedding. This time I got to visit the lovely Llantwit Major in South Wales for Katie and David’s nuptials.
Having never met Katie and David, I travelled down to the seaside village the night before the wedding to iron things out for the following day. I stayed in a lovely Premier Inn and even had fish and chips for tea – it felt like I was on holiday!

The weather was perfect, a bit of cloud and a bit of sun as the stunning Katie walked down the aisle in her flowing white gown.

Katie and David wanted the photos to be completely documentary as David was a bit camera shy and felt awkward in front of the lense. They also didn’t want any getting ready photos, so after a lovely lazy lunch on the seafront, I met Katie and David at the beautiful Rosedew Farm at 2pm.
The ceremony was held in a gorgeous old barn conversion with huge windows. The weather was perfect, a bit of cloud and a bit of sun as the stunning Katie walked down the aisle in her flowing white gown. She was greeted by a really young, happy and lively crowd, may I add, were all very well turned out and looking immaculate.
The ceremony had a lovely relaxed, laid back vibe with reams of foliage and wildflowers placed around the room. During the ceremony, Katie’s sister gave a reading which was highly emotional and a hit with the crowd. After the knot was tied, the newlyweds and the guests took to the steps outside for a confetti throw of fragrant dried rose buds and petals, before drinks started flowing and guests started nattering.
Not long after, Katie took to the steps to do the traditional bouquet throw, which was caught by her friend who was so happy she cried! In the meantime, David got to spend some quality time with his many brothers and sisters, and gorgeous nieces and nephews.
Back inside, the room was transformed with rows of trellis tables topped with wildflowers where the guests sat and food was served. To make the speeches a bit more fun, Katie and David put together a wedding speech sweepstake, and all proceeds went to the bride and groom. Katie was pretty pleased with the outcome!
Soon after the party started, and Katie and David took to the dancefloor followed by all their friends and family.

“Ahh they are amazing and bringing back so many lovely memories of the day!! Even David loves them 😉 we can’t wait to see the rest of them!
